New Drug-Education Kit

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

Donated by the Foundation for a Drug-Free World, this “Truth About Drugs Education Kit” contains a series of 10 easy-to-read publications covering the drugs on the street: crystal meth, cocaine, “kiddie cocaine”, crack cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, heroin, LSD, and painkillers. An additional booklet, “The Truth About Drugs,” provides an overview and introduction to the subject. Informal but well written and factual, these publications contain compelling real-life stories from former drug users and accurate information about why drugs are harmful, all fully researched and documented. Also included in the kit is an easy-to follow guide that takes the reader through the booklets, an activities manual, and a DVD, “Creating a Drug-Free World: Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life Program.” Four-week checkout period.
