First Annual K-12 Blackboard Users Conference

The first annual Michigan K-12 Blackboard Users Conference will be held August 6, 2009 from 8:30-4:00 at Clinton County RESA in St. Johns, MI.  This is free to all attendees.  SBCEU’s and a book will be provided to all participants.  The day will include snacks and a luncheon for participants.

There will be a variety of session tracks for:  new Blackboard users, Collaborations and Professional Learning Communities, Blackboard Administrators, and Organizations and Power Users. 

Sessions will include:  Getting Started, Assessment, Gradebook, Quizzes and Surveys, SafeAssign, Blogging and Journaling, Peer and Self-Assessment, Adaptive release and notification dashboard, and New Blackboard 9.0 Features.

Guests from Blackboard Corporation will be delivering sessions throughout the day, as well as teacher-users and ISD trainers from across the state.  More information will be posted, and available at the MACUL Conference.
